Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

Buy from the waist size as recommended. Best for bigger chest girls. I have a fulsome chest compared to many, and was surprised that this still left a little gap at the bust, although the lacing fully touches at the top back. I can’t go to a smaller size to compensate, as the hip is extended almost to the fullest, and I fear the back cover piece may not reach the other side. So I think the patterns need tweaking, that the bust and hips are in line (not make bust bigger than the hip). I’m 5’4, a 34” waist and 170lbs I’m also a natural “hour glass” shape with a 10” difference between bust & waist. However… I’m still delighted with the corset! It looks stunning on, the pattern and colour are superb. So the back lacing is usual - fully tight at the top, quite a ‘let out at the bottom, but there are ways to disguise that.
