Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

The size chart on the website is very helpful. The guides for beginners are also very helpful, especially when wearing it for the first time. I must say that I have moderate to severe adult scoliosis and I'm doing my best to stay physically fit after a hiatus. However, standing and sitting for long periods of time can be painful. Back braces you buy at a sports store doesn't cut it for me because the boning is only on the back side of the brace and typically sits lower. I read about women who've worn corsets to support their spinal disease, as well as some doctors have recommended corsets for an all around sturdy support. I decided to give it a try and I feel so much better while wearing it. Its support helps give a more comfortable posture and it's very comfortable to wear. I'm sitting down right now as I'm typing this and the pain has eased by 90%. I was also beginning to feel insecure about my appearance due to having a curve on one side of my body while the other side is straight. Corset Story's products are the real deal! They gave me curves on both sides and I looked more centered while wearing the corset. I will continue buying from them. Thank you so much!

Wears well under appropriately thick/concealing clothes, sturdy, stunning on. I have a shorter torso, so this length is comfortable and flattering. Tummy pooch may not be covered if you are taller than 5'6" (I'm 5'6.5" tall)

My measurements: bust: 38" waist: 27-29 (depending) hips: 41" torso length: 11" I tried on both the size 24 and size 26. I went with the 26 because I liked how the back panel closed a bit more and it fit my hips better.
