Disguise rating

Statement designs made to be seen. These corsets are often used as costumes with theatrical design features including dramatic hip panels, neckpieces, steampunk latch clips, and shoulder accessories. It's unlikely you'll find a way of disguising these styles but why would you want to? Comfortable & breathable, Suitable for wearing all day.

Corsets from outerwear collections including styles like our tops dresses and shirts. These designs may be heavier than your average dress or outerwear item because of the incorporated corset features, such as boning. However you certainly won't find outerwear that shapes your silhouette better. Sleek design with ribbon lacing.

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

This was part of my first purchase from Corset Story. I was surprised by the quality of materials and accuracy of the sizing. The corsets are actually fairly heavy because they're sturdily designed. The hooks on the front of this corset are much easier to fuss with than regular busks. The corset fits well, I followed their sizing guidance and it worked. I like this corset a lot, but there are a few things I would change about the sleeves. The material is shiner and stiffer than I would have expected for this type of look, and weirdly sewn onto the outside of the corset instead of the inside, which makes it clear it's all one piece, instead of being remotely sellable as a corset over a shirt. The sleeves fit well when I leave my arms down, but if I try to raise my arms overhead, the underside of the sleeves which are sewn to the corset bind and are quite restricting.

Absolutely gorgeous! I bought as a first time corset wearer and spent 9 hours in it at the Renaissance fair. This corset got a LOT of great attention and was way more comfy than I would have thought
