Disguise rating

Statement designs made to be seen. These corsets are often used as costumes with theatrical design features including dramatic hip panels, neckpieces, steampunk latch clips, and shoulder accessories. It's unlikely you'll find a way of disguising these styles but why would you want to? Comfortable & breathable, Suitable for wearing all day.

Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

A little small in the belly for me and big in the boobs. Thank goodness the top folds over the boobs to disguise this a bit. It’s still a gorgeous corset.

It's hard to tell without the garment being fully seasoned, but this seems like a well-built, quality corset. It looks and feels lovely. The only reason I did not give it five stars is a few concerns that I will list below:
- the pointed upper parts arrived bent and have yet to straighten out
- the laces are a bit thin and do not (at least yet) slide very easily. They get twisted easily too
- the plastic nature of the material has be concerned for longevity...Corset Story I would pay extra for this corset to be made in real leather!

The hip panels are huge! And I have mom hips so I thought it would fit, but they're more like wings. They lift off the skin away from the body. I don't think they were intended to hover over the skin.

The mix of industrial + delicate is fabulous.
I'm going to have to play with the fit a little, since I'm short-waisted, the hip panels seem huge.
