Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

This beautiful hand-finished embellished couture waspie is a must have piece if you are a burlesque lover! A side zip closure allows for the intricate art deco design beading detail to cover the front of the corset. It is laced with ribbon for an elegant finish and also comes with an spare cord lace, should this be your preferred lacing material.  This corset is from our Waist Taming range which gives a waist reduction of up to 4 inches.

Huge gap at the top and the bottom was so loose the edges were touching and I could still fit both hands underneath. I have a natural waist 25" so went for a size 22. Very disappointing since it looks adorable on the model. My underbust measures 28" but I had a five inch gap on top, almost like the 22" waist was continued with no allowance for a rib cage. Also had a very weird pouch silhouette in front... Other underbusts I've ordered from this site fit much better, but they all had front busk closures.

I love this corset. It fits so comfortably! I had thought it might be difficult to fit properly with the zipper instead of the grommets, but I find that it's not a problem at all. The ribbon has to be fully slack before putting it on -- but then that's standard practice with any corset, to get the right tension. --and it fits closely! As long as I don't pull it *ridiculously* tight, it's fine. Good zipper, too. I've found that I can step into it, bring the zipper to the front and close it, then turn the whole corset so the zip is on the side, then tighten the ribbon. If you can't turn the corset when the ribbon is fully slack, then you might need to size up one step. I'm 5' 5", about 175 lbs, 35-36" waist. My corsets are size 32". I could wear this over clothing or alone.
BTW, I also have this style in green. Also wonderful, no problems. Would love a red one! *hint hint, Corset Story!*

I purposely ordered a little small but it was still too large. Amazing beading. Beautiful and I am very happy.but this particular waspie runs a tad larger. I’m short so this one fits perfectly. Doen t dig into my hips or under my arms. Very pretty. Can wear over or under clothing.

Very beautiful detailing, my only real complaint is that the top and bottom hems gape a little bit, even when worn over clothes. I haven't seasoned this corset yet, so maybe it will fit better when it's fully laced.
